The Xilo glass lamp collection received two prestigious awards in November – Good Design 2021 and the German Design Award 2022. Additionally, Maciej Karpiak’s project was awarded with the statuette of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the „Model of the Year for Culture” category.

Good Design is one of the most appreciated awards in Poland, awarded by the Institute of Industrial Design. Innovative products are eligible for the competition, distinguished by interesting design, functional solutions and market values. In this context, the statuette for Xilo in the Lighting (Home Space) category is a great honor for us and an incentive to further develop the line of decorative lamps.

The second award is the German Design Award – a prestigious international award granted by the German Design Council. The German Design Council supports companies in the field of thoughtful design, innovation and builiding brand value. All these elements contributed to the award of the Xilo collection with the winning title of „Winner” in the category of Excellent Product Design (Lighting).

Both awards are equally important to us, because they confirm the uniqueness of the collection and the excellent cooperation with the designer, thanks to which we managed to successfully implement such a demanding project as Xilo. Our philosophy of Light Thinking was also appreciated, which allowed to combine the craftsmanship of metallurgists and the advantages of glass with the latest LED technologies.
